Location: Shorewood Village Center
Emily St. John Mandel’s Station Eleven features a number of characters who live in an airport and others who traverse the Great Lakes region without modern transportation. Kick off Shorewood Reads 2018 with your own story centered around themes of airports and/or transportation in this all-ages open-mic event. Storytellers can sign up for a three to five-minute time slot to tell a personal story or share an original fiction tale. (We prefer if stories were told, but reading from a script is okay if that is more comfortable for you.) Bring your story to life or just come to listen!
Makayla Campbell, our emcee, is a senior at Shorewood High School and has been involved in theatre for seven years. She is excited to help us share our stories.
THIS EVENT IS PART OF OUR SHOREWOOD READS 2018 PROGRAMMING.
