The Library participates in the INFOPASS Program through membership in the Library Council of Metropolitan Milwaukee (LCOMM).
Guidelines in the “Library Council of Metropolitan Milwaukee INFOPASS Program” document issued by LCOMM should be followed when issuing an Infopass. In addition, the Shorewood Library has the following guidelines:
A valid Milwaukee County Federated Library System card is required for receipt of an INFOPASS and the library card number must appear on the INFOPASS form.
An INFOPASS will only be issued from this library to Shorewood residents.
An INFOPASS may be issued only for items not available through the MCFLS; reference items at a member library are considered “available”.
Materials damaged or not returned to the source library will cause a block to be placed on the resident’s MCFLS library card until all costs have been paid.
