Just in time for the holidays, the Friends of the Shorewood Library are selling gently used best-selling titles for only $5.00! Our "unlucky" books were former Lucky Day titles, but are now in need of a new home as new titles arrive. Perfect for the stocking or wrapped up with a bow, there's something for everyone from James Patterson's Invisible to non-fiction titles like The Monuments Men by Robert Edsel. And, the money earned from this sale goes to back to library to support our collection and programming. It's a win-win: purchase a gift (even if it's for yourself) while supporting the Friends and the Shorewood Library!
In case you're wondering, our Lucky Day Collection consists of popular, best-selling titles that are not able to be placed on hold. So, if there's a popular title with numerous holds, and you see it on the Lucky Day shelf at the library- it's yours! You can check it out and take it home without the wait.
