The Lost Manuscript: A Library Escape Room
Thursday, March 12
3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Location: Library Program Room
At the core of Happiness Falls is a mystery: the disappearance of Adam Parson. Here is your chance to solve a mystery of your own at the library!
A legendary manuscript has gone missing, hidden somewhere around the world. Scholars searched. Historians failed. Now it’s your turn. The clues are scattered in an abandoned office, and time is slipping away. Piece together forgotten riddles, unlock hidden compartments, and uncover the truth before the manuscript is lost forever. Can you solve the mystery in time?
Join us for this immersive escape room experience at the library, filled with mystery and suspense! Adventurers ages 16 and up are welcome. This program is part of Shorewood Reads, a "one book, one community initiative," with six weeks of programs, discussions, and shared stories, culminating in a day of events with the author on Thursday, April 23, 2026. This year's book is Happiness Falls by Angie Kim.
NOTE: Registration is required. Sign up here for your 20-minute Escape Room session with your group of adventurers or as a solo adventurer where you’ll be assigned to a group, and locate the lost manuscript before it’s too late.
