Winter Legends and Lore

Winter may seem like a quiet time of year, but it is actually filled with bizarre tales and stories. Join researcher and author Chad Lewis for a winter-themed discussion of strange and unusual topics. Chad will share odd tales of Santa Claus, Krampus the Christmas Monster, and the deadly wendigo. He'll touch on stories of little people, New Year's Eve rituals, and numerous other Holiday traditions for the darkest days of the year. Chad will also examine bizarre superstitions and strange weather predictions.

ABOUT CHAD LEWIS

Chad Lewis is a researcher, author, and lecturer on a variety of topics. He studied psychology for both his bachelor's and master's degrees, however, for nearly 30 years he has traveled the globe in search of unique and bizarre stories and history. For example, Lewis has searched for Bigfoot in the United States and Canada, traveled to haunted places like the Villisca Ax Murder House in Iowa, and pursued chupacabras in Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. He is the author of multiple books including The Wisconsin Road Guide to Haunted LocationsUFO Wisconsin: A Progress Report, and The Wisconsin Road Guide to Mysterious Creatures.
