This month, Mollie from Pixologie will join us to share information on photo organization and how it ties in to genealogy.

DO YOU HAVE FAMILY HISTORY SECRETS AWAITING IN YOUR OLD PHOTOS?

Your old family photos may be the best tools for your genealogy projects. Find hidden gems, notes, clues and documents in those bins, boxes and old albums. In this presentation, learn how to tackle your inherited photos so you can confidently sort and save the important items to tell your family's history and story. We'll touch upon organization, scanning, physical and digital preservation so that this important part of your genealogy work is completed.

The Genealogy Interest Group (GIG) meets the first Tuesday of each month from 2:00 - 3:00 PM in the Shorewood Village Center. Researchers of all experience levels are welcome.
