The Magical Misunderstood Moth

Moths are stunningly adaptable and rival butterflies in beauty. Long overlooked, science is now devoting efforts to study one of the most successful yet secretive animals on the planet. Park Naturalist Howard Aprill will discuss how local scientists participated in a moth monitoring program – with shocking results.

Howard Aprill is a naturalist at Wehr Nature Center. He conducts environmental education and interpretation programs for all ages. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in Environmental Issues.
