Happiness: What It Is and How We Grow It
Tuesday, March 31
6:30 pm
Location: Village Center Meeting Room
Theories about happiness and what makes it are a central tenet of Happiness Falls. In the book, Adam Parson’s “Happiness Quotient” is his attempt to apply a mathematical solution to the quest for happiness.
In this talk, psychotherapist Philip Chard, author of the award-winning Shepherd Express column “Out of My Mind,” and a nationally recognized speaker and trainer, presents an inspiring and thought-provoking look at the behaviors and attitudes that create and sustain life satisfaction.
This program is part of Shorewood Reads, a "one book, one community initiative," with six weeks of programs, discussions, and shared stories, culminating in a day of events with the author on Thursday, April 23. This year's book is Happiness Falls by Angie Kim.
