Winter Watercolor Workshop

Location: Shorewood Village Center
Capture the serene beauty of winter in watercolor. Learn how to depict shadows on snow-covered terrain, paint bare winter trees, and create the soft glow of seasonal skies. All experience levels are welcome as we cover watercolor techniques: wet-on-wet washes, dry brushing for texture, and preserving whites. Finished art is 9"x12" on watercolor paper, suitable for framing. All art supplies provided.
JENNIFER EVANS is a mixed media artist living in northeastern Illinois. Her studio is located in 16th Street Studios inside Wisconsin’s historic Racine Business Center. Her background is in graphic design, marketing and publishing. She's a designer for StencilGirl Products and loves to teach mixed media art to people of all ages and walks of life. In the Studio, Jennifer creates with: Acrylic Paint, Watercolors, Gouache, Collage, Pen and Ink, and Water-soluble Pastels. Favorite subjects are florals/botanicals and abstracts. She is inspired by vintage themes, nature, seasons and celebrations.
