Tails and Tales! Summer Reading 2021
for beginning readers up to those going into sixth grade
We know reading interests and abilities vary so we have kids set their own reading goals: either number of books or number of pages they want to read by August 13. Don’t worry if your young reader isn’t sure how to set their goal. We have a chart to help figure it out. (If you still want more help with goal setting, contact Heide at the Library 414-847-2670 or firstname.lastname@example.org.)
Those who meet their reading goal by August 13 earn a Congratulations packet that includes a book of their choice, coupons, and small prizes.
New this Year! In addition to the Reading Challenge, we are offering Summer Learning Challenge. Kids who meet their reading goal AND complete at least 7 of the 14 challenges, will be entered in a drawing for special prizes including Fun Bags of super trinkets, and Grand Prizes.
Congratulations Packets will not be available until after July 15. Winners of special prizes are announced the week of August 16.
*Summer Reading Congratulations Packets and Special Prizes can be claimed at the Library during open hours or through our curbside pickup service.
