Art Cart at Home: April 8

Posted Apr 8, 2020

Hello from Ms.Susan!

I was really missing you and the fun times we have in ArtCart. So, I thought I would bring you some fun and creative art activities that you can enjoy from home.

Try it out and you will have your own unique masterpiece to share with others at home, or send it by email to friends and family as a surprise.

Go ahead and spend some time working your brain, your fingers, and your silly-side. Kids of all ages can try this activity with things you have around the house.

  1. Grab a piece of paper (use the back side of a page you are not using or a piece of mail your parents do not need anymore).
  2. Find something in the kitchen or around the house that you can trace with a pen or pencil.
  3. Trace as many as you want, in any pattern on the paper. Then you can make designs or color it, if you have markers or crayons.
  4. For extra fun, find something that begins with the first letter of your name! You can see I did that and drew Susan's Seven Spoons. You can even cut it up in pieces when you have finished, and give to someone in your house as a puzzle.

Go to the Art Cart Online webpage next week for another great activity idea!

I can't wait to see you all again at the library soon!

Be well,

Ms. Susan
